The beginning of this week started with the excitement that our very own 'Boss' has been nominated for an industry award!

Layla Tourh, AKA ''Beauty Boss'' has been short-listed as a finalist for the Business Mentor Award, by Scratch Nail Magazine, as they prepare for this years Scratch Stars Awards.

Layla Tourh says ''Honestly, there are so many amazing mentors in our industry now - I’m just so pleased that there’s a new category for us that are all trying to help salon owners be the very best they can be! - because girls is players too!''.

We felt it was a public service to remind everyone the sort of things Layla has done recently, and why we think Layla should be crowned Queen for this industry first category:

 💫 Layla offered a two week programme ''Lockdown With Layla'', FREE of charge, to salon owners that were seeking confidence and structure whilst their beauty businesses were closed during the Pandemic. This resulted in thousands of salon owners feeling excited to go back to business in ''Boss Mode!'', and was the birth of Beauty Boss Her Quarters!

  💫 Layla taught hundreds of salon go-getters to GROW through the word NO! This resulted in nail and beauty pros confidently saying NO! to clients they did not want, and treatments they no longer felt aligned with. As Layla says ''The more you say no to others, the more you are saying YES! to yourself!''.

 💫 Through Layla's Virtual Salon Window™ method, thousands of salons connected the dots between their real salon, and their ''virtual'' salon window - aka Instagram! Using Layla's VSW method, thousands of salon owners now understand the differences to the numerous strategies on Instagram, and more importantly, how to connect with their audience (we call them ''Pound-Stars'' here at BBHQ), and how to monetise through their social media efforts. During Layla's Virtual Salon Window™ challenge, we also saw nail and beauty pros that were simply too scared to reveal the person from ''Behind The Page'' - to now confidently going LIVE on their social media, and building up their personal brands.

💫 Members in our Membership ''The Members Club'' boast that with Layla's mentorship they have paid off their business debt; some also have savings now! One has reported having over 10K saved in her bank, and says it's all thanks to Layla's ''No Fluff Approach!''. 

💫 During this Easter half term, Layla held a mini Masterclass for the ''Mum Bosses'' in our industry - she called it 'Mother Hens & Little Chicks', which had Layla sharing how to help give daughters a growth mindset, manage money as they enter their teenage years, and how it should be ''Business Before Boyfriends!''.... The mini masterclass was a success and had 'chicks' as young as 9 years of age, attend!
